Brandon Calcaterra – President / Business Agent
My family and I moved to Alaska in 1988. I graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a BA in Management Information Systems.
In early 2006, my wife Heather and I were planning our own family. Having consulted for the Laborers since 1998, I was very aware at the quality of life Union members had through decent wages and benefits. I have been a member of Laborers’ Local 341 since 2006 and have enjoyed working with our membership to continue developing today’s workforce into a much safer, more efficient, and better Alaska.
I joined the Executive Board in January of 2015 and am currently the Recording-Secretary. Most recently, I was appointed as a Trustee to our benefit plans and take the responsibility seriously and with the utmost honor and respect. I am extremely excited to work alongside the Board of Trustees to ensure our benefit plans remain healthy for generations to come.
Heather and I now live in Eagle River and have three beautiful daughters, Alyssa, Mylie and Josie. We both love Alaska and the adventures it brings.
