Scholarship Programs
Members of Laborers’ Local 341 have access to benefits specific to education and training. The A.J. “Bear” Piekarski Scholarship and Charitable Fund was established in the memory of late Bear Piekarski and is used to help Local 341 members through offering post-secondary scholarships, assistance through tragedies, and contributions to charitable organizations.
A scholarship program for certain members of the Laborers’ International Union has been established as a living memorial to the late W. Vernie Reed, General Secretary-Treasurer of the International Union.
Visit the Vernie Reed Scholarship Fund website for more information including the application.
